How to ID an SEO Scammer
The gurus can't be trusted
Everyone on Twitter is an SEO expert.
At least that’s how it seems.
How can you tell which “gurus” are legit and which ones are just out to make a quick buck at your expense?
It turns out that there are a few personality traits that almost all SEO scammers share. If someone displays one or more of the below traits and you aren’t sure whether they’re legit or not, let me save you the trouble: they’re not.
Traits of an SEO scammer guru
Showing off signs of wealth
There is a 0% chance that any legit person will post a pic of a Lambo on their social media profile.
No exceptions.
If someone is offering SEO advice and they post pics of cars, watches, and hot girls (all rented by the hour) then they’re a scammer.
People who actually make real money don’t act like this.
They just don’t.
This type of marketing doesn’t appeal to the type of person who wants to start a serious business. It’s designed to grab the attention of young, low IQ individuals who aren’t happy with their life. The guru is “selling the dream”.
The scammers behind these accounts don’t actually own a real business. For them, the scam IS the business.
Run as soon as you see the Lambo pic. It doesn’t matter how convincing they are or what anyone else says. It’s a scam 100% of the time.
