“Who am I to be doing this?”
It’s the thought runs through the head of everyone who does anything that sets them apart from the masses.
It’s a completely normal feeling (assuming you’re a psychologically healthy person). No one other than completely deranged narcissistic maniacs think that they genuinely DESERVE more than everyone else.
It’s natural to compare yourself to the people you’re surrounded by. You’re almost certainly surrounded by people who are following the normal path in life: Go to college, get a job, work your way up the corporate ladder, retire, die.
No one you know is starting a business, and definitely not the type of online business that you’re running.
So it’s only natural to think: “Who am I to do this?” when you have no reference points of anyone else you know in real life doing anything remotely similar.
Imposter Syndrome tends to pop up at the exact moments when you’re on the cusp of a huge psychological “leveling up”.
