Laziness is a universal human failing that can creep into your life in different ways.
The worst is when you somehow manage to convince yourself that being lazy is actually somehow a positive personality trait.
(see below if you think that’s impossible)
It’s by far the most common out of all the many personality issues that prevent most people from succeeding in life.
Hidden Laziness takes many forms…
Wanting a step-by-step guide
One way that laziness manifests itself is in wanting someone to be your own personal tutor who will hold your hand and walk you through every step of the process.
This form of laziness is as insidious as it gets, because it’s so easy to trick yourself into thinking that you’re displaying intelligence instead of laziness.
“Why wouldn’t I want more knowledge. Knowledge is power. Are you calling my kindergarten teacher a liar? I’ll have you know that Mrs. Teets was always an honest woman. This is an OUTRAGE, ser.”
It’s time to be honest with yourself.
It’s not knowledge that you’re looking for when you seek a magical roadmap or a step-by-step process that somehow ends in guaranteed success.
It’s comfort and reassurance. You want a Big Daddy Figure to pat you on the back and tell you that everything’s going to be ok, the next step is going to perfectly safe, you aren’t going to fall off a cliff and die.
