The problem with social media algorithms is that, once you get interested in something (new hobby, way of life, etc.), it seems like the whole world is interested in the same thing (filter bubble) and, not only is everyone else doing what you’re doing, but they’re all WAY ahead of you.
Since you’re reading this newsletter you either already own or are thinking about starting a business.
Your algorithm is full of people who casually talk about making tens of thousands of dollars per month like it’s nothing…meanwhile you’re still struggling to make your first dollar.
It’s demoralizing as hell (to put it mildly).
