The Problem With Zero-Sum Thinking
Fix the way you view the world
Zero-sum thinking is the worst mindset you can possibly have.
Viewing the world through a zero-sum lens isn’t just factually incorrect, it’s also actively hurting you in ways that are both tangible and intangible.
When other people find success it isn’t a personal attack on you. There really are unlimited pieces of the pie. You can win, they can win, and someone else can win too.
It’s obvious when you actually sit down and think about it.
But it’s not the way most people are wired.
How most people view the world (and why it’s destroying their souls)
Most people, when they see someone else get something they covet, seethe with visceral jealousy and rage. They want to bring the other person down to their level. They want to see them suffer.
The cancer of zero-sum thinking will rot you from the inside out.
You’ll turn into a weird little gremlin creature who views success like it’s The Precious from Lord of the Rings. Everyone is fighting over it and only one person can have it.
But that’s not the reality of the world.
