A bunch of secret documents from Google were leaked last week.

Most of the data is just noise, but the leak also includes tons of ranking signals Google directly uses in their algorithm (bad news for John Mueller and the other liars/shills Google employs, as I’ll get into below).

This is BIG news.

Google was the master at keeping their algo under lock and key for decades.

Now it’s finally out in the open.

The only comparable situation was when the Yandex algorithm leaked back in 2023. The info was definitely useful, but come on. Yandex is an also-ran. No one GAF what the people playing in the minor leagues have to say about anything.

The reality is that search = Google. That’s not changing anytime soon.

The most surprising thing about the algorithm leak is that there was nothing surprising in it at all.

All the leaked ranking factors line up with what everyone in the grey hat SEO community has been talking about for years.

It turns out that people who actually walk the walk know WTF they’re talking about. Who would have guessed.

Make no mistake about it: the leak is TERRIBLE news for the John Muellers and Danny Sullivans of the world.
