Very insightful. Do you have a timeline for when Google will be able to detect AI generated images of fake people?

Google is already pretty good at AI deepfake detection.

They been working on it since at least 2019 https://ai.googleblog.com/2019/09/contributing-data-to-deepfake-detection.html and do enforce their policy https://techcrunch.com/2022/06/01/2328459/

Can you write an article on how to do research to write a niched SEO article? Where do you find sources to fact check and do the actual writing?

As Google is focused on profit, why don’t you think they will release the language models as part of their cloud suite? Seems like they could charge a pretty penny for access to that model?

They will eventually release it as part of Google Cloud suite.

Likely it will come after they use it further internally for some time to get ahead of the competition

Keep in mind the challenge for Google w.r.t. release it is not the money but the amount of TPUs used for it

They would likely use those TPUs for internal tasks and developments rather than deploying bunch of TPUs for external usage with language model.

Hardware esp with the latest supply chain problems is under quite tight constraints (based on private convos with Googlers in their AI division)
